The "Academician Jianxing in the Biopharmaceutical Industry" event was held in our city

The first issue of the 2024 Lushan Dialogue—"Academicians' Visit to Ji'an for the Biopharmaceutical Industry" event was held in our city. On May 9, Li Song, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and deputy director of the Medical and Health Division, and Chen Shilin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief professor of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were invited to our city to investigate the development of the biopharmaceutical industry. Zhong Wu, director and researcher of the National Emergency Prevention and Control Drug Engineering Technology Research Center of the Military Medical Research Institute, accompanied them, along with city leaders Liu Zhibin and Zhou Mi.

　　Li Song, Chen Shilin, and their delegation successively visited Jiangxi Linke Longnao Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Puzheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Yuxia Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Xiajiang Hemei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Kaiman Medical Technology Co., Ltd. At each location, the two academicians went deep into the front lines of enterprise production, listened to introductions about production and sales, diagnosed and solved problems for the enterprises, helped them expand and strengthen their advantages, enhanced market influence and competitiveness, and provided technical care and guidance.

　　During the investigation, our city also held exchange seminars between academicians, experts, and enterprises in Jinggangshan Economic Development Zone and Xiajiang County. At the seminars, some local biopharmaceutical companies presented their respective technical needs to the academicians and experts regarding strategic consulting, project cooperation, platform co-construction, talent introduction, and cultivation. After responding to related questions on-site, the academicians and experts hoped that all pharmaceutical companies would firmly establish the concept that quality is life, further increase investment in scientific research, talent introduction, and training, create a good environment for scientific research and innovation, focus efforts on cutting-edge basic research and core technology breakthroughs in biopharmaceuticals, continuously enhance enterprise competitiveness, and promote high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry.
