About Us
Jiangxi Institute of Biological Products Inc. was founded in 1969 as the Jiangxi branch of Shanghai Institute of Biological Products under the Ministry of Health, with over fifty years of biopharmaceutical history. In 2002 it was converted into a limited liability company and further converted into a joint‑stock limited company in December 2017. The company now owns eight wholly owned subsidiaries across China and is a National High‑tech Enterprise dedicated to the research, development, production and sales of antitoxins and immune‑serum biological products. We built the first GMP‑compliant biopharmaceutical filling platform for antiserum that uses isolator‑based aseptic filling; established in Zhangye, Gansu, China’s largest GMP‑compliant horse‑breeding and plasma‑collection base; in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, the country’s first and largest companion‑plasma preparation platform compliant with Veterinary GMP; in Shenzhen, an integrated collaboration platform spanning production, academia, research, clinical services, and CRO for drug clinical trials; and in Hainan, a pharmaceutical R&D technology service platform to efficiently integrate high‑quality global resources.

R&D Innovation
We view R&D and innovation as the foundation of development. Over more than 50 years, we have prioritized building our R&D capabilities. Through continuous talent recruitment, we have formed a research team led by post‑doctoral and doctoral scientists and established deep collaborations with leading universities, and set up Jiangxi Postdoctoral Innovation and Practice Base with multiple projects progressing orderly. Each year we invest tens of millions of RMB in R&D. We have set up R&D centers and scientific platforms in Jiangxi, Shenzhen, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Gansu, and Hainan, equipped with complete laboratories and analytical/inspection instruments. Our affiliated R&D bases are outfitted with advanced specialized equipment, enabling multiple new products to scale from research to industrial production. With accumulated know‑how, we have obtained 48 patents and received honors such as Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangxi High‑tech Enterprise, and National High‑tech Enterprise.
