On May 20th, the Provincial Drug Administration held a province-wide video conference on drug production supervision. Leaders including Zhang Guangwen, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Drug Administration, attended the meeting. Our General Manager Yao Xiaodong led the company's quality manager, production manager, and personnel from quality, production, and pharmacovigilance departments to participate in the entire meeting via remote video conference and carefully recorded the meeting content.

At this meeting, the provincial bureau leaders summarized the drug production supervision work in our province over the past three years, analyzed the current drug safety situation, and studied and deployed measures for drug production quality and safety in our province. The provincial leaders particularly emphasized in their speech that drug quality and safety are directly related to the health and life safety of the people. All enterprises must clearly understand the new situation and new tasks faced by drug production, accurately grasp the great significance of ensuring drug safety; they must adapt to development needs, focus on innovation, transform methods, adjust structures, fill gaps, strengthen weaknesses, improve development levels, and enhance risk resistance; they must implement main responsibilities, highlight legal awareness, strengthen bottom-line thinking, produce and operate with integrity, strictly manage quality, and control drug quality from the source.

The provincial bureau leaders required, The year 2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a major event in the political life of the Party and the country. Ensuring the stability of drug safety is of great significance. All enterprises must further deepen responsibility implementation, strictly prevent, manage, and control drug safety risks, effectively ensure drug quality and safety, and guarantee the safe and effective use of drugs by the public. First, enterprises must earnestly fulfill their main responsibilities, strengthen responsibility awareness, take initiative, and implement bottom-line thinking throughout the entire drug production and operation process; second, strengthen risk and hidden danger investigations, earnestly carry out self-inspection and correction, comprehensively prevent and resolve various risks and hidden dangers to ensure drug safety stability; third, further improve management levels, strengthen post-marketing change management, annual drug reports, pharmacovigilance, information traceability, and improve the traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces management system; fourth, effectively maintain drug safety stability, all departments and units must raise political awareness, strengthen responsibility, carry out solid supervision and inspection, and ensure results.

After the meeting, to fully implement the spirit of this meeting, General Manager Yao made the following arrangements: first, relevant departments must immediately organize study sessions, deeply understand the meeting spirit, and promote it to all employees to further strengthen the awareness of drug quality and safety among all staff. Second, resolutely benchmark and improve our company's quality system construction according to the meeting instructions, making our quality management system more scientific and standardized. Third, relevant departments must take immediate action to firmly implement Deputy Director Zhang Guangwen's instructions and carry out the "Four Requirements" work well.

Going forward, our company will continue to carry forward the spirit of strict and persistent enforcement, strictly abide by all commitments to drug production quality and safety. We will continuously explore and improve various drug quality management system constructions, resolutely implement all national drug quality management laws and regulations, and ensure the continuous absolute safety of drug production quality.
