Farewell to keyboards and desks, and off to the mountains and fresh breezes! On August 24–25, 2026, 50 employees of Jiangxi Bio embarked on a “Jia You Gan” team-building journey. From mountain hikes and exhilarating outdoor challenges to soothing hot springs and breathtaking views of terraced rice fields, they poured their energy and laughter—beyond the office—into the lush green hills and sparkling waters of Jiangxi.

This team-building event was spearheaded by the company’s Party branch and jointly organized by the Trade Union, the Youth League branch, and the Women’s Federation. The Office oversaw every aspect of the planning and execution, from selecting the itinerary and verifying participant information to arranging accommodation, meals, and insurance, as well as developing contingency plans for rainy weather and providing detailed travel reminders.

Even before the team‑building trip has begun, warmth is already in the air. A heartwarming little episode unfolded within the company, brimming with the simple joys of everyday life. Colleagues spontaneously gathered fresh ingredients and milk, rolling out dough and frying savory pancakes. The sound of chopping boards clacking mingles with the tantalizing aroma of food wafting through the office; some take charge of cooking up signature dishes, while others portion out drinks and snacks. Each carefully prepared meal carries everyone’s eager anticipation for the outing, and the camaraderie among colleagues gently flows like a quiet stream amid the lively bustle of daily life.

Meanwhile, the office meticulously coordinated all travel arrangements, inventoried event supplies, and repeatedly verified details such as vehicle scheduling, team-building equipment, and hotel reservations. With every preparation fully in place, everyone is now poised for the group departure.

Through wind and rain, hand in hand we climb, together to behold the splendid scenery of Baishuixian.

Amid cheerful songs and laughter, the team‑building group arrived safely at the Baishuixian Scenic Area. A gentle drizzle began to fall in the mountains, veiling the lush greenery in a delicate mist, while the rain made the stone steps slick and difficult to navigate. Yet even the inclement weather could not deter the “Jiangsheng” from pressing on. Participants spontaneously formed small groups, linking arms and supporting one another, as warm reminders echoed throughout: “Watch your step—this side is very slippery!” and “Come on, give me a hand!” Though the rain soaked their trouser legs, everyone kept encouraging each other, moving forward in unison, with not a single person left behind. Winding through the vast bamboo forest, cascading waterfalls and trickling streams disappeared into the misty haze, while landmarks like the Baishuixian Temple and the Baishui Waterfall Complex came into full view. This journey along the rain‑soaked mountain paths not only revealed the breathtaking beauty of the woods but also highlighted the invaluable spirit of mutual support that binds the team together.

Passionate Team-Building: Uniting Hearts to Conquer Challenges, Unlocking New Team Vitality

As night fell, a thrilling team‑building competition unfolded in the open space of Tanghu Hot Spring Hotel. With lights in place and all the props ready, everyone shed the usual formalities of work, and cheers, shouts, and laughter rose and fell in waves, instantly igniting the atmosphere.

During the ice-breaking activity, all participants set aside their original departmental boundaries and reorganized into new teams, launching a creative brainstorming competition. Seated in a circle, team members sparked ideas through vigorous discussion, devising distinctive team names and powerful, resonant mottos. Each squad took turns taking the stage, shouting their team slogans; some even improvised entertaining skits, drawing waves of laughter from the audience. Colleagues from different departments, who had previously interacted only sparingly, quickly grew familiar with one another through playful exchanges, and lingering barriers quietly dissolved. This was followed by an exhilarating card‑race challenge that ignited everyone’s enthusiasm. In the first round, many teams sprinted back and forth but kept making mistakes, prompting continuous chuckles. Rather than blaming each other for setbacks, the team members quickly regrouped to analyze what went wrong: some focused on memorizing the card positions, others on swiftly running to retrieve them, and still others coordinated on‑site command. After several rounds of fine‑tuning, their teamwork became increasingly seamless, while colleagues offstage cheered them on. Everyone came to deeply appreciate that effective communication and synchronized effort are the keys to success. The highlight of the entire team‑building event arrived next: the collaborative tower‑building challenge. Teams were allowed to hold only the ropes, forbidden from directly touching the tower blocks; relying on everyone pulling in unison, they stacked the modules layer by layer to construct a towering structure. At first, attempts repeatedly faltered—uneven forces caused the blocks to wobble and topple—but amid laughter and frustration, no one lost heart. With each collapse, they started over again. “Hold steady! Slow down! Pull in sync!” echoed across the field. Everyone held their breath, carefully modulating their strength, stacking one layer, then two, then three… as the tower slowly rose higher and higher. When the tower finally stood tall and stable at the center of the arena, the entire venue erupted in thunderous applause and cheers. Every inch of that towering structure stood as a testament to the team’s harmony, patience, and mutual trust.

The exhilarating team-building activities came to a close, leaving many participants drenched in sweat yet beaming with joyful smiles. Afterwards, everyone indulged in the Tanghu High-Temperature Hot Springs, renowned as “the finest hot springs in Jiangxi,” soaking in the warm waters to wash away the fatigue of their mountain climb and obstacle course. As they exchanged lighthearted stories and chatted about life, the rising steam further bridged the gap between hearts.

The next morning, the team set off for the thousand-year-old Taoyuan Terraces. From the vantage point atop the hill, the terraced fields stretched and undulated along the mountain ridges, while mist and clouds drifted lazily between the rows. Wangtian Hill, Panlong Hui, the “Mirror of the Sky,” and the Iron Rope Bridge were scattered across the landscape, resembling a breathtaking masterpiece meticulously carved by nature.

As everyone strolled along the field ridges, they eagerly pulled out their phones to capture the breathtaking scenery—checking in for photos, chatting casually, and playfully enjoying themselves—fully immersing themselves in the lush green mountains and clear waters of our homeland, and savoring the serene, carefree charm of the countryside. Surrounded by sweeping pastoral vistas, colleagues set aside the stresses of daily work, deepened their connections, and drew closer to one another as they shared in the beauty of the landscape, further strengthening team cohesion and allowing the spirit of unity and mutual support to take root in each heart.

Returning fully recharged, poised to set sail, and forging ahead with determination on a new journey.

The two-day team-building retreat flew by in a flash, yet the bus ride home remained lively and spirited. Everyone reminisced about the amusing moments and touching experiences of the journey, singing all the way—still savoring every last bit of it.

This team-building event was filled with heartfelt warmth before departure, mutual support through wind and rain during the hike, exhilarating camaraderie as we tackled challenges together on the outdoor course, and serene moments of leisure beneath the sea of clouds over the terraced rice fields. It was not just a relaxing getaway into the mountains and countryside; it was also a hands-on classroom in trust, communication, and collaboration.

The beauty of mountains and waters may be finite, but the power of unity is boundless. Looking ahead, all employees of Jiangxi Bio will carry the passion, synergy, and warmth gained from our team-building activities back to the workplace, working in concert with a shared vision, staying committed to practical action, and joining hands to embark on a new journey of high-quality enterprise development!
