　　The 8th "Maker in China" Jiangxi Province Ji'an City SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held on August 10, 2023, at the first-floor studio of Ji'an City TV Station. This competition aims to create a platform for SMEs and makers to exchange and showcase, incubate projects, connect industry and finance, and collaborate on innovation. It stimulates innovation potential, gathers entrepreneurial resources, and fosters an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship.

　　Thirty-seven high-quality projects from fields such as electronic information, new materials, new energy, intelligent manufacturing, modern agriculture, biomedicine, and ceramics competed fiercely. Jiangxi Bio, characterized by daring innovation, courage to break through, and perseverance, sent representatives as an important force in the Maker Competition.

　　The competition was conducted in a "1+5+3" format with intense on-site competition among 37 high-quality projects. Through multiple stages including a 1-minute video, 5-minute roadshow presentation, 3-minute defense, and interactive communication, the projects were tested. Finally, five judges scored and commented. The Jiangxi Bio team won third prize with a fourth-place finish, successfully advancing and further enhancing the company's image.

　　After receiving the notice of the Maker Competition, the general manager personally deployed efforts to collect high-quality projects for participation. The Shenzhen (Jiangsheng) R&D Center actively provided technical support and services for the projects. The company office actively organized competition materials, formulated participation plans, designed competition posters independently, and conceived and produced promotional videos and a 1-minute project introduction video. The company carefully selected a high-quality and capable team to form the competition group. After thorough consideration, the duo of Jin Yi and Kang Weishan was finally chosen to participate in the roadshow and defense. They, with a spirit of learning and improvement, overcame the difficulties of having no prior competition experience and needing to explore everything independently. They repeatedly refined and simulated, continuously modified and optimized the roadshow materials, raised defense questions from an expert perspective, and answered them themselves. Through hard work, they finally succeeded in breaking through. After the competition, leaders from the Provincial Industry and Information Technology Department's Maker Competition Secretariat proactively communicated with the company's participants, exchanged contacts, and encouraged them to participate in the provincial-level Maker Competition.

　　Strong innovation capability is a common feature of this year's participating projects. The competition discovered and cultivated a batch of excellent projects and outstanding teams. It is reported that the competition has spawned new products, new technologies, new models, and new business formats, effectively promoting the transformation and upgrading of SMEs and their growth into specialized and innovative enterprises. It supports SMEs in integrated innovation and builds a platform for SMEs and micro-enterprises to connect with government industrial funds and various service organizations.
